geez, nostalgia was giving me rose-tinted glasses here. Jawbreakers make us invincible, there's some repetitive kitschy music playing. Ed collects lumps of green cheese for points and his plot is getting back home to wait for his friends. (But what kind of idiot records how he ripped off his enemies?) In any case, everybody wants Ed blood, so they are our 'villains', sort of.Īnd I can pick who to play as! (which really doesn't fit with their shtick in the show of being a team but) I think I'll go with Ed because he is the 'Banzai' of the three. The sprites and portraits do look remarkably like the show, so points for that. It appears Eddie dropped his Book of Scams that he was using to record all the people he ripped off. (I found out soon after that collecting quarters 'hidden' in each level would unlock all of THREE minigames which are all awful, ranging from pie throwing to popping zits) The game wastes no time getting to the story- I'm not foreseeing any unlockables or secret options here. This game is just based on a show and not a franchise, so I imagine it will turn out very short.
Tonight's Really Bad Game Run will be a game version of a rather unique 90's show that is still popular apparently (a movie is in the works), Ed Edd n' Eddy.
